PLEASANT GROVE — Police are looking for a driver who hit and killed a juvenile in Pleasant Grove on Tuesday and then left the scene.
A boy crossing in the intersection of 2600 North and 900 West was hit by a vehicle at about 4 p.m. The boy was taken to the hospital but died shortly after arriving, Pleasant Grove police said.
Police believe it was an elderly man who was driving the white, four-door Chevy truck with a handicap placard that hit the boy. The driver has been identified and search warrants are being applied for, police said.
